It’s never easy to say goodbye to a beloved family pet, much less one who has been in the family for over 17 years. On a long holiday weekend, our beautiful cat, Angel, began to lose her battle to kidney disease and declined very quickly. She was in so much pain, we couldn’t let her suffer until we could see her regular vet. We called around and the Destin Emergency Veterinary Clinic said that for something like this, we would not need to wait, they would take us right back. And they did. They were so kind and empathetic. They even sent a sympathy card in the mail. While I hope I never need their services again, this is where I’ll go if I do.
