Digital Radiology (X-rays)

X-rays are a critical component in assessing your pet’s internal organ and bone structure. Historically, film radiology took longer to develop and receive results.

Our digital x-ray unit provides the highest quality images to help our team diagnose your pet as quickly as possible and work on a treatment plan for their recovery.

In-House Laboratory

The in-house laboratory at Emergency vet Clinic Destin allows us to diagnose and treat your pet accurately and efficiently.

From complete blood work ups, blood chemistry, electrolyte evaluations, and blood gases to urinalysis and biomarker tests, our in-house laboratory gives us a complete look at your pet's health without the wait of an outside laboratory.

Electrocardiogram (ECG)

An electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) is a diagnostic test that measures the electrical activity of your pet's heart over a period of time.

Our veterinarians utilize ECG for pets in various situations, including heart murmurs, irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias), fainting or collapse, heart disease (such as dilated cardiomyopathy, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, or valvular disease), prior to anesthesia or surgery, and monitoring the effects of medication.
